And the song of the gen-set will be heard throughout the subdivision...

Quick note. Had no power for 3 days, came though ok, except the shallow root ball tree(as most trees do around here) that fell over had the cable line running through it. No cable (inc. computer) til further notice; be at least a week 'til it is restored. Hence, my stealing time on my employer's machines. More later.

The penalties of living in the most industrially advanced country in the world. Here's a tip: the shallow root ball tree doesn't have the most charming name, does it; so don't replant it.

Glad to see you still here, RR. Sorry to hear of your weather troubles: first, Irene, now Lee.

Bummer, dude!

I hope that all has returned to normal. The hurricanes seem to love you.I'm rather new to your blog and I don't comment often, but I wanted you to know we are thinking about you. I hope you have a great weekend. Blessings...Mary

BB:damage on our end (root ball) was minimal; the rest of the tree took out the fence across the owner's yard and into the neighbor on the other side. The crowns of these trees get so big, and the root ball is so shallow, when high winds come on, trouble starts.
Crow: On the bright side, due to the Isabel diet, RR has lost weight! Hope all is well with you.
Mary: thank you for the comments, I enjoy your blog and visit daily.
All: I am still stealing time on work machines, as cable is still not back. "Real soon now", as the IT boys say....
